Before enrolling in the course, I had no strategy for memorizing
scriptures. Nor did I have a method to memorize the New Testament
books in order. Since enrolling in the course, I can do both and
more. Today, I know how to conduct an in-depth analysis of a bible
story and can synthesize my inspirations to deliver a thoughtful and
thorough bible study. Also, I can create a word study from a favorite
scripture. Thus, immersing oneself in the Word is paramount to living a
Christlike life.
Through my attendance in the course, I emerged sensitive to the timing
of delivering a memorized bible verse to another person. This course
has enriched my ability to effectively communicate God’s word, exhort
others, and influence the lives of the young, old, and all those in
between. I recommend this course to anyone seeking to refine their
skills or enhance their natural gifts and talents. Applying such methods
taught in this course, are invaluable for such a time as this.
Faithfully,
Dr. Pia S. Woodley, DBA

Pastor Emmanuel,
I am writing this letter, because I want you to know what a joy and pleasure it has been to be under your leadership and tutelage. The way that you dissect the word and disseminate it to the congregation has been refreshing. I’ve been in church for some time now and when I came to Imitators of God ministries there was some arrogance or pride in my heart pertaining to the word of God. The word no longer seemed fresh or alive, because I felt like I had heard the same sermons about the same Bible verses over
and over again. I also felt like I heard preaching that taught me how to be spiritually immature and taught me how to forfeit my spiritual inheritance. Although, I did not receive these sermons that taught me spiritual ineptitude I do feel that being in these spiritual environments had me stagnant as a Christian. When I came to Imitators of God I also had stopped being a tither. While I believed in tithing my spirit had been vexed by those in positions of spiritual authority who seemed to care more about money that the people who they were charged with spiritually shepherding. I do not say these things to be critical of others within the body of Christ. I only say these things so that you will have some understanding of the condition I was in when I began coming to Imitators of God.
Pastor thank you not only for your words, wisdom, and the way you labor in the word, but also thank you for being the Pastor that you are and being a living example of what it means to follow God. When I came to Imitators I observed what you did and how you operated. I saw your heart for the people and your desire to care for the people that you were given the responsibility to shepherd. I watched how you frequently forgot to ask for an offering to be taken up. Your forgetfulness in this area made a lasting
impression on me, because it exemplified that your heart was not geared towards monetary gain. It indicated to me that your motives were something other than financial. Your actions were instrumental in helping heal that part of me that had stopped tithing due to the actions of men. I wish I
could say I was more mature than that, but I was not. Thank you for charging me and everyone else under the sound of your voice to grow up and be spiritually mature. I’m elated to be in this ministry and to undergird the vision that God has placed in your heart.
I just want you to know that I consider it an honor and privilege to be a part of this ministry under your leadership. Thank you for your work and labor. Thank you for the level of dedication and commitment that you show to God and the ministry. Thank you for the spiritual “spankings” that you give us, because they are needed and necessary for correction. Thank you for your sense of humor that you share from the pulpit. Your mixture of humor and a deep dissection of the word of God is refreshing to my soul.
Thank you for being a willing vessel and instrument used in the service of God, because you have helped to restore my belief in church people and pastors. In short thank you for being a great Pastor and a wonderful man of God.
Love You,
Blessings,
Bethany L. Young

Prior to starting this course, I was not memorizing scripture. I had memorized some verses as a child in Sunday School, but had not memorized any new verses in years. I could remember some passages, but could not tell you the book, chapter, and verse.
I knew the books of the New Testament in order from Matthew through Galatians, but not the rest of them. Again, I had learned this as a child in Sunday School.
I had some understanding of scripture, and used some tools to help me dig deeper into the meaning. I knew intellectually that understanding the scripture was important but I did not have a coherent framework for scriptural study. I did not know which tools were best to use for which types of passages in the Bible. It was really hit-or-miss for me.
Taking this course has brought things into focus for me. It has provided me additional tools for understanding the meaning of scripture, and a coherent framework for how to apply all of the tools. The scripture memorization tool is fantastic, making memorizing the passages and the book/chapter/verse references straightforward. If I am intentional about using the tool, it is fairly easy to memorize one scripture a week.
I feel more in tune with God's Word now that I have a means of studying and understanding what God is trying to tell me through a passage of scripture. I am more excited to read the Bible and understanding it, rather than seeing it as a chore. I am more confident in my ability to discern the
knowledge that God wants me to receive from the scripture that I am studying, and that I can teach that meaning to other people in a coherent manner.
I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn a set of tools and a framework for applying them to gain a deeper understanding of the Bible, and to be able to memorize scriptural passages including book, chapter, and verse. It would also be extremely useful for anyone who wants to learn how to prepare a lesson from a passage of scripture, for a Sunday School class, a Bible study group, or even for preparing a sermon.
